This is the Wakamatsu Ward, Kitakyushu pickup location for the unmanned campervan rental service "Road Cruise," located right after exiting the Wakato Bridge on Route 199, in front of the Wakato-Ohashi-guchi intersection. It's about a 6–7 minute walk from Wakamatsu Station on the JR Chikuho Main Line, and about a 16-minute walk from the Wakamatsu ferry landing of the Wakato Ferry. This location uses a car-share system where you unlock the vehicle with your membership card, allowing 24-hour pickup and return, and you can park the car you arrived in at the same spot in exchange. One Toyota Camroad-based cab-over camper, scheduled for delivery in March 2026, is available, which can be driven with a regular driver's license and allows pets on board. Advance interior viewings are not available.
