Started in 2024 by Umebachiya LLC, located in Muromachi in central Gifu City, this is a light camping car rental service (rental-car-style car sharing). The vehicle is a single JP STAR Happy1+, which can be driven with a regular driver's license (automatic-only license accepted) and can seat and sleep up to 4 people. Pickup and drop-off take place at Umebachiya's main store, where your own car can be kept while you're traveling. Rates are set in 24-hour units, and rentals can begin from 6 PM the day before. Optional items such as a fire pit, table and chairs, and cooking equipment are provided free of charge. Reservations are accepted only through the web form, starting up to 3 months in advance. Pets are not allowed, and smoking inside the vehicle is prohibited.
